1st day of preschool - 1/17

Avie started preschool up on campus a week ago.
Of course, she loves it.

I think it's been good for everyone. 

I forgot how quiet/easy/nice/calm things are with one child.
I've been loving the time I get with just Jack.

I love picking her up and seeing what project she did that day and hearing about (sometimes she tells me) what school was like for the day. She always seems like such a big girl when she comes walking out of the door. (A nice perk about campus preschool - they do curbside drop-off/pick-up so I don't even have to take Jack out. Nice!)

Oh, and the other day she was talking about dropping her off/picking her up for some reason, but it was cute - instead of saying "pick up," she said un-drop-off.

The first day as we left the house to pick her up, Jack started walking through the house saying, "Addy, c'mon. C'mon Addy." He got confused when she wasn't with us and we were leaving. She is so sweet. When she hops in the van after pick up, she gives him a hug before getting into her car seat. They're little sidekicks, those two. I love it!

I'm so glad we have this to look forward to a couple days a week this winter!!
